John Jorgenson (Born 1956)

One of the pioneers of the American gypsy jazz movement, John Jorgenson has performed as a solo artist and has collaborated with other musicians all over the world. His broad musical palette has enabled him to play with artists as diverse as Elton John, Luciano Pavarotti, Bonnie Raitt, and Benny Goodman. He is an A-list session player, performing and recording in Los Angeles, Nashville, and London, who has appeared on numerous platinum-selling and Grammy-winning recordings. This is a portrait of John as Django Reinhardt, a role he played in the film "Head in the Clouds."
